Greater Portland Family Promise
Greater Portland Family Promise, an affiliate of the national Family Promise program, is dedicated to addressing the needs of families facing homelessness in the Greater Portland, Maine area. Through an interfaith network and connections with existing community resources, Family Promise provides housing, meals, case management and community for children and their families experiencing homelessness.

Through our programs and services we are working to connect people with wild nature in ways that strengthen their sense of purpose and sustain the spirit of compassion in their lives.
Success for us as an organization hinges on the ongoing impact of those we aim to serve. We focus our efforts on helping the helpers: Those people who are working to make the world a better place through their compassionate efforts and caring professions. We strive to make experiences of renewal available and accessible to as wide a range of people and organizations as we possibly can by taking an agile approach to the ways we facilitate encounters with wild nature.
